Some anecdotal evidence for the ebbing of the "campus speech crisis": When I started the Facebook group I moderate back in late-2017, I was posting articles concerning campus anti-speech incidents about 3 or 4 times a week. Now it's not even that many a month.

A number of metrics that were getting worse in the Late Obama Age Collapse, such as murders, Islamic terrorism, and campus meltdowns, have stabilized during the Trump years. (Knock on wood.) I'm waiting to see whether pedestrian deaths in motor accidents are still going up.

I remember John Le Carre writing (Smiley on Karla) that fanatics never win in the end. They can't keep up the intensity required and in the end the rational world covers over.
