That the same idea mooney (whatever his name was) had with reimer with disastrous results. Its an ethical consideration people tend to negate when new science comes along.

Most ethical seems to be to stick with zygote selection to avoid rare genetic disorders instead of CRISPR before more research has been done. However, both approaches will lead to embryo ranking and narrowing of gene pool via short-sighted selection
