Rosenthal has done more harm than almost any psychologist I can think of. I keep trying to write a review of his _Experimenter Expectancy Effects_ book and keep failing because I get too angry about his work and the whole replication crisis.
He's often cited for invention of meta analysis. Maybe that's fake? He's also the guy behind the study attacking asylums for the insane (Being sane in insane places).
