If you quote a bad person but the substance of the quote is reasonably true, does that mean you should be criticized? If AOC, for example, quotes Evita Peron, but the quote is at least vaguely agreeable, should we criticize her?

In his defense, a lot of people--I mean, a LOT of PEOPLE--need to have "obvious shit" spelled out for them, especially in today's sociopolitical climate.

AOC and her ilk call everyone and his dog Nazis. I don't feel too bad about pointing out how AOC is trivializing the Holocaust and is quoting fascists. Is she a fascist? No, but she clearly has cognitive and moral deficiencies which make doing the obvious beyond her.
