both ideas are unconvincing. language expresses common perception of actions. sex with a 15 year old: "child" is untrue. teenager is true. "rape" is statutory. But not proper expression. sex with a 10 year old will be reasonably labeled rape in expression
This use of "rape" is not found in other languages. It's some UK/US law construction. Danish phrase is simply "sex med mindreårig", sex with a minor/less-aged.
