What's intelligence got to do with Cranium size? there isn't a correlation in living humans today, why would there be one in the recent past?
Great paper on polygenic scores and height changes in Europe. As expected, PGSs mirror observed skeletal heights.
Someone should do this for intelligence too. In fact, we did. It's in review. We unfortunately don't have good cranium data.

I don’t think the paper linked shows causality at all. Plus there’s a major issue in measuring IQ in the first place. And all they’re relying on is educational attainment. Plus the variance explained is something to be ashamed to put in a paper

I also read about the impact of polygenic scores on the socioeconomic status in the Harvard Business Review for about seven or eight months ago. Apart from a few outliers, it’s largely correlated with the higher status. Sorry,
