We aren't having unchecked climate change. There are lots of people already acting against this problem. It's not an existential problem at this point (and won't be any time soon), but demographics is.
In any case, the solution to climate change is already know, and it's called nuclear power. However, the same people who obsess about climate change resist the best solution. So I can't take them very seriously until they start being serious themselves. (Some exceptions!)
