I literally do that right now. I've been measuring my weight almost every day for about 40 days.

and that's why I noticed this massive spike. Usually the deviation is at most ± 1kg (2.2 pounds)

Why weigh so often?

Because I'm a data nerd, and I can get an estimate just by using a local smoother based on a few data points
