Here are my beliefs, although they are complicated and probably require caveats that I cannot possibly add on Twitter. 1. I am mostly an economic progressive, although I think free markets are pretty cool.

2. I am an immigration restrictionist in the Rich Lowry sense of the word. But, I am not dogmatic about this, and I would happily discuss. I might change my mind. 3. I am pro choice and pro gay marriage and pro socially tolerant policies in general

4. I think it quite likely that both genes and environment play a role in differences in cognitive abilities among population groups, but I think that we should treat people as individuals, so I don't think this has any necessary policy consequences

5. I am not a fan of ethnonationalism, although I can understand the impulse. I'm ultimately a cosmpolitan. I like diverse intellectual ideas and influences. And I treat and see people as individuals. And I would urge others to do the same.

6. I am opposed to affirmative action for a variety of reasons, but I'm also not dogmatic about this. I am willing to listen to arguments. I don't have super strong beliefs here. 7. I am not a fan of, say, David Duke. I find his divisive rhetoric odious and unproductive.

8. I think that it is better to discourse with and debate most people. 9.I am not easily offended. I like Emil Kirkegaard, even though I don't personally like everything he has said or written.

10. I generally don't share the political beliefs of conservatives, because I am too liberal on a number of issues, but I don't like progressivism either. So I float around somewhere in the center.

Thank you. Do you find the race beliefs of OpenPsych and MQ reprehensible?

I honestly don't know what those beliefs are. Noah Carl wrote a piece that I fully endorse in OpenPsych. I would submit to OpenPsyche. But I probably don't share most of their political preferences.

How do you know though? I mean, no one has done a survey of OP or MQ people, so no one really knows. When I've done surveys of our various private fora, these always come out as mixed, basically dead center on average (using Nolan chart approach).https://twitter.com/KirkegaardEmil/status/1033957215001096192 …
