Skin color is a quantitative trait. Why would the correlation not extend within families from a genetic causation perspective ?

Maybe I'm slow, but are you purposely confounding the results to sort-of sugar-coat them? I'm still not sure what you found.

We find that skin color differences are not causal for intelligence differences. This means that the most popular alternative model (colorism) for explaining genetic ancestry associations with intelligence has (more) evidence against it.
