Skin color is a quantitative trait. Why would the correlation not extend within families from a genetic causation perspective ?
New article out. We confirm that skin color predicts IQ, BUT this only works between families, not within. This is a prediction from genetic model, non-genetic model predicts the opposite. Maybe I'm slow, but are you purposely confounding the results to sort-of sugar-coat them? I'm still not sure what you found.

We find that skin color differences are not causal for intelligence differences. This means that the most popular alternative model (colorism) for explaining genetic ancestry associations with intelligence has (more) evidence against it.
