So when Emil Kirkeguaard said "Eugenics or Western civilization dies. Choose wisely," that's what he was referring to. Jonny Anomaly, who writes for Quillette, favors eugenics, but I don't know if he's ever written about that in Quillette.

Referring to embryo selection, genetic engineering etc., not "state controls who breeds" old school stuff which I oppose.

It always starts like that, doesn’t it? Until the inferior people refuse your anti-dysgenic program. Then the greater men must think of “saving” “Western Civilization.” If our utter existence needs really needs saving, you’re talking about mass or state control, in the end.

My anti-dysgenics program? I am literally just talking about removing rules making IVF selection illegal, and state funding it. This is already the norm in e.g. Iceland and Denmark, but e.g. German and Swedish regulations are strict. No need to try to make things sound ominous.

"Legal IVF or Western civilization dies."
That seems...credible.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

It's like you don't read history. Civilizations come and go. We are in the decline of the Western one. It's possible that ancient civilizations came and went for reasons of genetics, with cycles between eugenic and dysgenic periods. That's what my tweet refers to. Cliodynamics.

What are the signs we are in decline? Pinker says the world is wealthier, healthier and happier than its ever been. Oh—“brown people.”

You're not very good at engaging with ideas honestly. I am sure 5 mins of googling will find any plenty of reviews of various indicators of decline.
