Hah, My bad, I kept seeing references to that one. So you're one of the authors and he reviewed it? Either way, it's associated with him since he reviewed it and lists it on his page.

Emil Kirkegaard is one of the folks condemned in the New Statesman piece and I commend him for attempting a conversation on this issue, even in the face of that awful troll who suggested he jack off to pictures of the Holocaust.

Kirkegaard and OpenPsych is the hill you want to die on, then? And you want to talk about credibility, lol.

I never said he was a "Nazi," I was being hyperbolic about that, but my point was very valid -- it's idiotic to say there's no "empirical" evidence if "science" codifies societal recognition that one race is smarter than another, that no one is going to do anything bad with that.

That's what Carl wrote and it's fucking idiotic. People have committed genocide for far less -- for nothing. Science and data, purportedly, hold some gravitas in our society. People pushing this stupid bullshit have no need to study the problems surrounding this

The genocide you referenced, the holocaust, was for precisely the opposite reason; the jews were far more educated and wealthy than the population at large. That doesn't support your claim at all.

THE JEWS WERE KILLED BECAUSE HITLER THOUGHT THEY WERE AN INFERIOR RACE. Normally I would not link to Wikipedia, but this topic is so WIDELY ACCEPTED BY ANYONE NORMAL that even a Wikipedia entry will suffice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_policy_of_Nazi_Germany …

Ah, but "inferior" and "less intelligent" aren't synonyms. The jews were widely viewed as extremely cunning, that's why they were resented. The whole anti semitic conspiracy places jews at an almost superhuman level of power and skill at manipulating and sominating society.

I see IQ research as being fairly helpful to Jews, since it provides a fair/meritocratic reason for why they dominate intellectual matters. If Jews weren't smarter, that would be highly unusual, and obviously raise the probability it's for unfair reasons.

Both Nazis and Soviets persecuted IQ research for reasons related to this, so it's highly odd that academics somehow keep thinking that IQ research was supported by Nazis. Someone must have made that up at some point. I wrote a brief review here. https://emilkirkegaard.dk/en/?p=7472

Fascinating. I knew the Nazis favored moralistic notions of Aryan superiority, in contrast to Jews who merely had low cunning and lacked courage, loyalty, manliness etc. But this is hilarious. The entire dominant narrative is backwards.

I've also seen this among white nationalists, who have a sort of goldilox theory, where whites aren't the highest or lowest IQ group, but rather they're "just right". It's basically "yeah, we're not the smartest but at least we're not nerds"
