I don't think it would be much more work compared to writing a thread on Twitter, once you have made the initial investment necessary to set up the blog in the first place, which is not very large itself given the tools that are now available.
Is “medium” a thing?
It's a blogging platform that allows you to create a blog and write posts very easily. I have never used it though, so if you want to include nice formulas in your posts, I don't know if that's possible. With a Wordpress blog there are plugins that allow you to do that.
