Yes. By claiming that p values from a small, non-random sample are meaningful. This should be disqualifying for any job in quantitative social sciences. Let alone his use of arrests as a direct indicator of crime rates...

Are you really saying that such shoddy work is regularly produced or published? That post-Phd researchers are applying MV regression and using p values with such small, non-random samples? That's a pretty shocking indictment of graduate education in the discipline.
