When you, a female scientist, respond to a math challenge and get the solution partly right, it’s interesting to see how random men will chime in to inform you where you went wrong. I’ve always hated the term “mansplaining”, but goshdarnit, I also see why it’s used.
Not just a byproduct of normal male helping behavior to towards women? They are better at math, after all, just like they are better at reaching objects on selves, lifting heavy things etc.
