My point stands. The words are intended to confuse, marginalize, smear and block understanding -- and the succeed. And they are historically ungrounded and the history is one of use to smear, deceive and marginalize, and that practice continues to this day, as studies show.

Well in my case I called Hayek a sophisticated critic of Marx, which he was, and lumped him with some of the great intellects of his age, which he also was. So I am not sure why this entire tirade was necessary.

I'm sick of this lumping Hayek and liberals on a spectrum with Hilter, the KKK, and fundamentalist religion -- this practice has a history and a purpose and that purpose ongoing and well established with research on eg journalistic practice.
