You guys are crazy. He never claimed to be a 'philosopher' or a 'geneticist'. The man is incredibly clear on his blog that he works at a genomics company and that his academic credentials is just his linguistics degree.

The old description (2014 that ODS digged up) did have these titles, but I didn't mean by degree obviously, just someone who did a lot of those things. So I haven't claimed any credentials I don't have, but it's moot point anyway since credentials aren't very important.
ODS, himself, of course, has only BA degree too, in a non-science field from a meh university, so his 'battling of credentials' is really quite stupid.
