Estimates of the rate of change vary as new research comes along. Also there's a confidence interval rather than a point estimate, so it's very hard to measure whether people are accurately estimating the rate.
Sounds like left wing bias to me. The very point of conservatives is that climate stuff is not particularly important. It's their meta prior of sorts. You can't just assume this particular topic is more important than whatever cons think is important.
I would like to see how moral foundations correlate with misinformation topics. My guess is that it would correlate quite strongly. Determining what political camp that is most misinformed, based on a single issue, is probably too narrow.
Given the impact of climate change, I think it's objectively more important.
