It's all a political power game now. They're winning, they have the power, everyone knows it, which is why no one says anything. The biggest issue though is that they are so ruthless and cold with the power, happy the man lost his career. Like zero compassionate feelings.
Completely unsurprising and yet so disappointing move. Autistic people, the very best at science, cannot thrive in situations with arbitrary bans on thinking.
