"Humans aren't wolves" is a silly argument that reminds me of those who claim that "humans aren't dogs" (implying that dog behavior may be heritable while human behavior is not).
The point is that you don't have to rely on non-human priors when you have direct human data. We have lots of genetic correlations from human data, so we generally know what the trade-offs will be when selecting for a given trait.
Correlations will reverse under directional selection.
