Well, that’s fair. Just to be clear, that different from saying it’s definitely correct. That’s not how science works. In general, I find the argument that Jewish populations have higher IQs because of a combination of genes and environment persuasive. Always open to evidence tho

It's cool, I just wanted to be fair. I don't like when people take a fringe social justice take as representative, so I held back on this one in case it was such a case for EvoPsych.

But as Bo said though, things and people just like this aren't fringe. Not sure what I'd be suggesting to handle it, but seeing that this is the history of the field and apparently still mainstream, it's an issue from the outside.

It's also another thing for these people to just exist in their bubbles and others in the field ignore them, but when people thought to be in the respectable parts are not only silent, but actually embracing these guys and their "work", it's harder to disavow the taint.

@rasmansa I wouldn’t take this as mainstream or representative given the broader reaction to the piece amongst relevant experts.0 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

IQer have about the same left-right as EPers, i.e. slight left tilt. I think the main reason they are perceived as right wing is that they are RW relative to the extreme LW of e.g. social psychologists. It's a problem of perceiver's own position biasing their perception.pic.twitter.com/AYbnCW1y3x
