Hmm... but I think Unz's argument that Hispanic crime rates are similar to whites (when age adjusted) are convincing. Do you disagree? If not, what made Mexicans a century ago different to Hispanics today?

Hispanics commit violent crime at roughly three times the white rate according to this report. I remember that the homicide rate of them is around twice that of whites, maybe a little higher. Unz thinks that if you control for age this gap almost disappears.
