Maybe a firewall config is needed on the server side. Is the port 3838 open ?
Did anyone figure out how to solve this Shiny problem? Can't load the javascript files from shared folder for some reason. I've permissions to 777 still same issue.

Do all the repertories of the path have o=x as permissions ?

Are the shared and __assets__ directories soft or hardlink ?

There's no link to them. Shiny handles that somewhere, but it doesn't work for some reason. The actual location of the shared dir has the right permissions.

Yeah, it's not a permission problem, I can access the file with the web dev tool of Firefox, it seems to me it is a JS. With Chrome I get a ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH for jquery.min.js. Did you try to restart the shiny servive ?
