Didn't know that one, but my impression is that people don't really know the scale of big pharma involvement. It's been there for years wrt. controlling stock, founder don't really control the company much.

I doubt it. I think they are just waiting for polygenic scores to be good enough to identify people with high risk for diseases they control medicines for pre-treatment for (think statins). This way, medicalize a larger group. Good idea if done right, but big pharma lies & cheats
