PISA 2015 in ireland: "In the second stage of sampling, up to 42 students aged 15 years (those born in 1999) were selected to participate...." http://www.erc.ie/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/PISA2015_FutureReady.pdf … can't see any explanation as to *how* they were selected.
