New levels of delusion.
Journos can't take being called out on their bias and fakery by Trump et al, gotta fake another list!
In _real_ dangerous places for journalists, they end up dead or in prison with the key thrown away.
I don't see what good delusional self pity does..https://twitter.com/RVAwonk/status/1078097263468167176 …

Replying to @KirkegaardEmil @Jon_StewartMill
> end up dead "Meanwhile, the shooting deaths of five employees of the capital gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland, in June propelled the United States into the ranks of the most dangerous countries for the first time."

No evidence of political motivation. Arguably reporters without borders should care about political oppression only. Actions brought about by a private individual on personal grounds aren't political.

So?
@KirkegaardEmil made no mention of political oppression, so either he didn't read the article before blasting it, or he chose not to mention that there were actual dead American reporters used in the criteria.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
Organization devoted to journalist freedom and safety stuff. One random dude of out a country with >320 million people who shoots up smaller newspaper killing 5 does not constitute any form of present danger to journalists in that country. It's a freak event.pic.twitter.com/NIbv0x8IFW

Again, so? You made no mention of that line of argumentation in your tweet, which implied no journalists died in America last year. And only ~60 journalists died worldwide; you could say any one of those events is insignificant.

The implicature is that no journalists died due to political oppression, due the status of journalists as political actors, which is what RSF cares about all along. Yes, some journalists of Capital Gazette were murdered, but that is irrelevant to RSF's mission.

So why not say that in that original tweet? It's much more interesting than what he did say, in which he implied none of what you said.

If you read his tweet charitably, i.e. assuming that he is probably attemping to say something true, then you'll see the qualifying phrase "as political actors" after "in _real_ dangerous places for journalists", given that RSF is concerned with freedom of press and information.

I ran out of patience and muted him now. His account stats indicate that this behavior is the norm for him. (low tweet/follower ratio = low quality argumentative person).
