You might be worried that migrants won't share our values but isn't it completely insane to expect that kids will?
-
Our children will surely share more of our values than foreigners will, but there's other metrics of importance.
-
I'm actually not sure this is true if you look at e.g. values of today's 65-year-old natives vs. 65-year-old foreign born vs. 20-year-old natives. (APC problems ofc but still)
-
You're "sort of" correct. I'm from a non-Western country, and though I'm not very old, people my age probably share the values of 65-year olds in the West. But it should only take a basic understanding of kinship to realize why replacing native population is a bad idea.

If the pensions would be funded by savings instead of by the taxpayers the Germans wouldn’t even need more kids. In the end it’s socialism that causes the problem.

https://twitter.com/_Sowellsista_/status/995454950951079936 … Even the UN admits that mass immigration won't solve the ageing population problem in the long run.

It's too late for any "increase of fertility" (How would you do that anyway? By an inverse of the Chinese 1-child-policy?) to have an effect. That would kick in 20 years into the future. But Germany needs it now, during the next 5 to 10 years. Social system & economy will need it

Unskilled and often unemployable net cost migrants make the problem even worse.

"Young men and women of Germany, I implore you to have more sex". In all of Germany, there is not one politician who has thought to run with that slogan? Wouldn't that win in a landslide over "We need more Turks"?

my favorite part is how they love to teach the newcomers about how evil and racist the Old Germans are and yet they still expect browns and blacks to pay the pensions and take care of the same racists in hospitals.

Capitalism does not result in solutions that take long-term foresight until account. If one imports a lot of low skilled workers, and then make their labor useless with automation, one will have a huge problem for welfare state -- larger than before importing them.
-
Japan seems to be trying a hold-out plan. Allow population aging and decline, and hope that automation will come quickly enough to offset this. In the mean time, avoid importing low skilled foreigners that destabilize culture and cause economic deficits now and in the future.
