High intelligence may not always be a guarantee of sound judgement.
It would be relevant to identify the contextual causes of when intelligence does relate to sound judgment and when it does not. Hypothesis: when stating something you privately believe to be true, but are aware of public stigma against, smarter people hide their opinions more.
