I honestly can’t believe they’re still pushing the pay gap in current year. I guess since each ‘side’ is pretty insular, and partisans only really read what they already agree with... it’s still so easy to get away with such dishonesty.
My mother told me she believed in nefarious pay gap stuff, so I showed her some of the obvious studies, like the Uber driver one (men make more bc drive more+longer+at rush hour), or the Scandinavian govt employee ones (no or tiny gaps). Then she realized the truth I think.

Most people, including most women, are reasonable enough and will listen when you debunk it. Radical ideologues, however, can always just blame it on the patriarchal CIS white men funding such research.
