      Prior work has identified four hypotheses for how the data may have turned out. We thought one was most likely. Pre-reg'ed that.

      Went back to the lit to figure out what went wrong, noticed that the bulk of the evidence for the four hypotheses came from studies that measure the construct of interest in one of two ways, we used the other way.

          I'm actually sold on the idea that the relationship between these things could vary dramatically depending on how you measure the construct of interest (b/c I think the measures aren't actually capturing the same thing). So we need a pre-reg'ed study w/ multiple measures.
