I managed a 15/18, but I'm still calling foul.
I should have gotten the one on deterrent effect of the death penalty correct - it's NOT unknown. The evidence is a bit weak, but 88% of experts agree it has no deterrent effect: https://scholarlycommons.law.northwestern.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=7323&context=jclc …

Leading criminologists is not exactly a group of scholars I have much faith in. :p I'd be curious to see what the opinion is if one statistically controls the link to political position (as in the survey of IQ researchers).

If you're not interested in listening to criminologists, the answer given by the survey is also unsatisfying. The link I shared reviews various evidence from research on the topic. Again, the evidence is weak (small sample, noisy data,) but indicates tiny or zero effect size.

This could be much improved if you answered every question twice, first with what you expect the concensus answer to be, then with what you believe. Then you could graph true belief vs knowledge of 'the concensus'

60% correct... but have serious issues with some of the questions. a. not a fan of consensus answers... b. cherry pics questions. c. some distracter answers to close to real ones. All in all it would be easy to create a test that shows liberals wrong.
