One thing I am adamant about is that smart ppl who dispute the relevance of IQ are demonstrating a lack of empathy.

Pinker made the point that academics are particularly prone to this issue. This is extremely ironic considering that these are the same people who keep telling us about the importance of empathy -- which they usually completely lack for low IQ and right-wing people.
