Not if the data is a bunch of overfitted noise. fMRI data tends to be really sensitive/finicky to the ways it is treated. I'd reserve a judgment on this one until independent replication. Although of course this is a result to be expected based on first principles.

The brain images are different because of stereotype threat and implicit racism. Also, MRI was invented by a WHITE MAN whose unconscious bias is obvious.

If genes determine skin color, and height, and eye and hair color, etc, etc...then why would they not also affect the development of other organs of the body..the brain being the most significant?
