What continues to amaze me (OK to be honest, I am not surprised) is that those that propose or defend "affirmative action" only propose it selectively and never across the board. It almost feels like they want to cherry pick privileges and ignore reponsibilities. I may be wrong.
Literally a scholar called Pious who argues that case against affirmative action "rests heavily on myth and misunderstanding".
