Pretty mysterious since one cannot change the sex ratio at birth or make men live longer than women! Are they converting people into "Swedish born" category somehow?

Immigration can't change the ratio among Swedish born unless they do substantial sex selection prenatally.

The gap (up to 1960) is explained primarily by less child mortality. The time after, is primarily explained by a decrease in men's longevity.
