Mankind Quarterly's latest issue contains seven articles written by former editor (and now assistant editor) Richard Lynn. It would be interesting to read the peer review reports by those independent experts (without any conflict of interest)https://twitter.com/KirkegaardEmil/status/1040550960249098240 …

New issue of Mankind Quarterly is out. As usual, a lot of new data to ponder! It's probably one of the most data-centric journals out there. http://mankindquarterly.org/archive/issue/59-1 … You can usually get papers by looking on ResearchGate. Or email me/authors. pic.twitter.com/KqGT6il9yv

@KirkegaardEmil 1/2 I have an honest, non-trolling question. Has Lynn ever publicly defended himself against accusations that he is normatively a white separatist? The quotes on the SPLC website are damning, but most are impossible to independently verify; sources hard to find.

2/2 It's impossible to find any refutation of these allegations (by him or another) even with a pretty thorough Google search. This leaves most observers to conclude he *does* hold the views the SPLC accuses him of. Does he? And if not, why doesn't he defend himself?

You mean like this? https://twitter.com/KirkegaardEmil/status/1025365053703442434 … Lynn isn't very interested in policy making, and there's not a big group of friendly journalists standing around to hold the microphone to let him explain his views. Generally a waste of time to defend against SJWs.

I'm referring not to generalized SJW insults, but specifically to the long quotations on the SPLC site, which seem to clearly endorse white separatism and enforced racial segregation. If he was misquoted and is not a white separatist, then he can simply say so.pic.twitter.com/5YVd4nflM8

If he said those things -- and we have to assume he did, since he hasn't provided any reason to doubt it -- then he is in fact racially biased against blacks and Hispanics, which is a major character flaw and ample reason to distrust his research. Enforced segregation is evil.

... [crickets]... Don't get me wrong, I am interested in cognitive ability, and defend TBC (for example) against unfair criticism. But M & H reject enforced racial segregation, as do all in the field. Except, apparently, *Richard Lynn*. So, Prof. Lynn, is that quote accurate?

I don't know what Lynn's beliefs are on segregation, and I don't really care. Use scientific criteria to judge scientific work, not some random quote mined comments put up by political opponents.

That quote isn't just some random mouthing-off, it advocates a policy which would violate the human rights of millions. I'm open to being convinced it was a thought experiment or a joke, but that case *needs to be made*. Nobody ever has, as far as I can tell.

1/2 Final thought: Lynn *is* a segregationist, so defending his views (or arguing their irrelevance) does a disservice to controversial scholars falsely accused of racism (e.g., Gottfredson, Murray). Defending Lynn undercuts defense of others, since he's 100% guilty as charged.
