Unsurprisingly, these measures quickly become illegal too. There's been pushes to make encryption illegal and it will probably happen too, at least in part (e.g. illegal for private citizens to use, but OK for big tech who collaborates with deep state).

It was only like last year that this was being done in China and everyone thought it was crazy thing that obviously couldn't happen anywhere else. They were using it to even monitor how much loo roll you took at the public bathroom.
