Does anyone have negative experiences with posting preprints? E.g., journals that wouldn't accept the manuscript anymore because it was already published online somewhere?
Editor/reviewers found it and we got desk rejected because I was a coauthor. Probably not that common an issue unless you decide to publish on topics lefties dislike.

Wait, you are saying that a paper was desk rejected because you, personally, were an author and it was known that you had previously published things that ran counter to leftist thought? Did the decision letter state this, or it just felt obvious that was the cause?
