I think media censorship by big tech is the biggest threat, especially when combined with AI. Trump can't really shut down press even if he tried. 1a protects them pretty strongly against strongman types like him.

I'm completely on board with that social network monopolies is a threat to the democratic debate. I don't believe the US constitution protects against an autocrat if the congress passively lets him slide towards totalitarianism.
