It is also where malmö is located. So we have seen the effect of muslims alot more than the rest of sweden.

Genetics has hardly changed in those years, I think the current Scandis in Scania are essentially a continuation of the old population, only the borders changed. Stockholm has a lot of immis too, but almost no SD votes. Support looks really strong in Lund, an old Danish city.

Skåne has been a contested region for 1200 years. It has fluctuated between Swedish and danish rule many times. It’s essentialy the Alsace-Lorraine of Scandinavia. I was born in Scania by two Scanian parents, yet my http://Ancestry.com says that im only swedish and not danish

http://Ancestry.com is trained on modern labeled samples, dude. :p Would be interesting to see if Skåne is closer genetically to Copenhagen than Stockholm, the answer which is probably "yes".

Skåne has been part of Denmark from at least 700s to 1658 (actually, it was sort of Danish for a while after that), so >1000 years Danish, and ~360 years Swedish. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Scania#After_the_Christianization …

Many of those years where it was under danish rule, it was actually independant. But since Denmark was the only country that ”claimed” that land during that it was simplified as ”Danish”.
-
Scania also experienced alot of swedish tribal immigrants, östragötare, västergötare (ostrogoths, visigoths)

Don’t think it has anything to do with Danes and everything to do with the religion of peace and its adepts.
