i prefer something like "runaway universalism," altho i'm not too happy with that, either, tbh. lookin' for something neutral. bland, boring, yet informative. (~_^) maladaptive isn't so bad, but we don't know the end of this story yet, do we?

Obviously, I don't think say Scandinavians are generally diseased, I think they are maladapted to the new situation of easy migration from low tier groups to their homelands.
pathological in the context of biology - which is, of course, what we're talking about here - means caused by a physical or mental disease. traits that were selected for in one environment but don't work so well in another are not pathological. they're just maladaptive.

Personally, I don’t think it is maladaptive yet. Are the people who invited the ‘world’ the same as the people who are suffering? In most cases, no!We talk a lot about competition, so what if the newcomers are just used as a blunt tool in the INHERENT competition between natives?
