There's some evidence of this. Google it. We've discussed it in Mensa. Lots of smart people suffer from neurosis of some kind. Most learn to manage it and it becomes a Jeff Goldblum-esque affectation. Like how rich people are idiosyncratic and poor people are crazy.

Good to know. I haven't read much on this subject - IQ and mental health - but there seems to be a gap between intuition and real data. We have this assumption that smart people must be tortured and depressed. Not necessarily so it would seem.

He's right. Anything more than three SD's up is a guesstimate. I have taken a lot of standardized tests (used to be a teacher) and based on a few different formula I was pegged at around 160. But really the exact number doesn't matter that much above a certain point.

Yeah I know him. I had a drink with him in New Jersey once. Some people are quick to mute when they get lots of notifications. Twitter is bad for long conversations. I prefer other platforms or voice / video chat.
