I didn't read it, but I read https://www.amazon.com/Bad-Pharma-Companies-Mislead-Patients/dp/0865478066/ref=pd_sim_14_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=0865478066&pd_rd_r=CERQBPMGR2RH5X3CA8D2&pd_rd_w=GsUKV&pd_rd_wg=X5jcg&psc=1&refRID=CERQBPMGR2RH5X3CA8D2 … which seems similar. Probably both books are missing the healthy dose of skepticism behavior genetics provides (because it sets the prior of strong genetic confounding to ~1).

There is also Pharmageddon, by David Healy, an Irish psychiatrist. Similar idea. Not a bad book, but not as good as his other books about antidepressants and psychopharmacology. https://www.amazon.com/Pharmageddon-David-Healy/dp/0520275764/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1528290531&sr=1-1&keywords=pharmageddon&dpID=51gaCfAcQFL&preST=_SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch …
