When you google specifically for conspiracy theories, you're gonna get conspiracy theories. How did this guy even pass 5th grade? My grade school book report requires more rigorous research practice than that.

My best guess is Confirmation bias. People will search and read headlines and repost/share w/o reading it Bc they assume it confirms what they "know".
