        Sir if u remember It was also done in Tripura too sometimes in 2015 during CPI M rule. I remember bcos I was serving in Tripura that time. Ok give due to that govt as well.

        Absolutely. Seeing NE since 1978, it indeed got a big boost after 2014. One reason has been political instability & lack of priority for very few LS seats from NE. Trust being estd by showing genuine concern for developing region.Improving all weather connectivity is topmost need

        Yes... and it was this confidence in @narendramodi govt that made me (a Keralite working in Bangalore) travel with family for 7 days in Assam.Meghalaya,Manipur,Nagaland .. experienced the development work first hand.. Kuodos, Keep it up, God Bless the North-East of India.

        Sir but If you personally visit Cachar, Hailakandi & Karimganj Districts of Assam the infiltration/illegal encroachment of land is more & I don't know how they get support 2 reside with all basic amenities they need which normal resident's don't get easily from Govt eg this picpic.twitter.com/pau1XChYjf

        They are finishing them....however care has to be taken to protect the innocent locals and the forests and their inhabitants.....too much development can also be harmful sometimes....its should be turned into a green zone, national park etc and people in that region given jobs...

        After Tripura, Now AFSPA is removed from Meghalaya. Between 2014 and 2018, there has been 63% decline in insurgency incidents in North East India; 83% fall in civilian deaths; and 40% fall in security personnel killings. It means Govt is doing well but No one will talk about this
