Can someone explain what a protected class is?

Right now it's just limited to that state, but being a protected class is how there becomes legal rules in place against workplace/housing/whatever discrimination

It also gives hope that this will be the start of the end of trans panic laws. Which are actual laws in place that say it's legal to kill a trans person "out of self defense in fear of your life" more or less.

Do non-binarys count as transgender to the law? Because that would be wonderful.

Im sorry i think its a good idea to ban tran from the military i dont beel like paying for someones hormone treatments and i dont think the military should either because i would be paying for the hormones either way through taxes

HRT is fairly affordable. Folx in the military receive coverage through Tricare, which routinely provides more expensive care than HRT not just to servicemembers but also their children. Generally people reach for excuses like this so to justify their bigotry so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I will say of the bat im a bigot yes But i also dont think all the mood swings you get while on htr is a good thing to be going through in the military either Thats why guys that return with ptsd are discharged because of the violent mood swings
