Do you think sharding has worked out well for World of Warcraft? IMO: - Seeing more players around is good - It seems to have massively limited world content (as your servers world doesn’t matter when you can just hop to another one).

I think in the core you are right but you dont really have to interact with ppl usually you search a group wait / kill the rare and then leave. no thanks, no gg, no bye, maybe a "hi" when u join

True, but how much of that is due to sharding? I've had cool groups and shit groups before LFG was invented, and have had the same after. Same for sharding. Forcing people to interact doesn't always mean that it's gonna be more enjoyable.
