It has now been more than three weeks since @YouTube removed live streaming on our main account. The issue is still not fixed and we have not received any communication regarding the ban, other than that they are ‘working’ on it. We expect a 90 day ban. Until that time...(1/4)
The problem is that social media companies AREN'T required to follow the same laws other companies and businesses are. They are publicly traded companies, that serve the public. Yet they are less accountable for discrimination than a small business.

They are private sector, even publicly traded companies are private sector, and the courts have already ruled they aren't subject to public accommodation laws.

The Colorado baker is private sector, not publicly traded, but he is being forced to conduct business in opposition to his own religious beliefs. Anti discrimination laws aren't applied equally. Equality and free speech are integral to our society.

And they've never discriminated against anyone, show me verifiable proof that they've told people they were banned for their politics.

They don't tell a person they've been banned for political content. It's a "violation of community standards" with no clear explanation given and their "standards" are intentionally vague to allow for max flexibility. You must fit their preferred profile.
