It has now been more than three weeks since @YouTube removed live streaming on our main account. The issue is still not fixed and we have not received any communication regarding the ban, other than that they are ‘working’ on it. We expect a 90 day ban. Until that time...(1/4)

The bakers is subject to public accommodation law, social media companies aren't. And social media companies never told anyone they were banned because of their politics. That false equivalence won't work.

The problem is that social media companies AREN'T required to follow the same laws other companies and businesses are. They are publicly traded companies, that serve the public. Yet they are less accountable for discrimination than a small business.

Additionally, there is no law that requires them to be a platform or a publisher, that just isn't a thing.

The platform vs publisher is their excuse to escape accountability. I don't agree with them, I'm just repeating their stance.
