When George Floyd was murdered by a police officer, we saw marches and protests all across our country. I actually had hope that we were finally going to see some action and have the racist policies of our police departments ended—I was wrong.

It’s been two years of Congress failing to act. It’s time for us to elect leaders who will pass the following laws:
✅Mental Health Justice Act
✅BREATHE Act

When I get to Congress I will work to pass these laws, so we can try and prevent another senseless killing of unarmed Black men. We have to do better but nothing will change if we don’t stand up for what is right.
